In the heart of the brecon beacons, the National Showcaves Centre for Wales is one of Wales` top visitor attractions and is the home of the most spectacular showcave complex in Northern Europe.

	Well, at Dan-Yr-Ogof they really do! Learn about the natural forces which shaped our planet and how those same forces created such unimaginable beauty. You will travel back to Jurassic times and come face to face with a fearsome T-Rex and over fifty other giants in our award
winning dinosaur park. Learn the story of the exciting but deadly age.

Dan-Yr-Ogof is a site a site of "special scientific interest" and, based on archaeological evidence, our life-size replicas give you a realistic idea of how people lived 3,000 years ago in the Bronze Age.

There are plenty of things for the children to do here. As well as seeing the Dan-Yr-Ogof Caves

Information

The National Showcaves Centre for Wales is open 7 days a week from April 1st until October 31st 2009. We open at 10.00 am, with tickets available throughout the day until 3.00pm - the last admittance in to the visitor attraction (this time does vary in the high season, please telephone for precise information - 01639 730 284).

We also open during December for our Father Christmas experience, and for the February half term week (please telephone for up-to-date information - 01639 730 284).

How to find us

Dan-Yr-Ogof Showcaves are just 20 minutes from the M4,
taking junction45 and following the brown tourist signs on
the A4067.

We`re half-way between Brecon and Swansea, and there`s
plenty of free parking.
