Rhossili Bay

| Rhossili bay is one of
the finest beaches in Britain. The village of Rhossili is situated
at the top of the 200 foot cliffs, and offers superb views of the
Worm`s Head Peninsula. Rhossili is a favourite for for handgliding,
and also popular for swimming, surfing, windsurfing and canoeing.
Alternatively you can walk out to Worm`s Head for the two hours either
side of low tide (please take advise from the coastguard hut before
attempting the trip). It is not an easy walk to the top but the views
make it very worth while. If you are lucky you may see the families
of seals that sometimes make an appearance at the bottom of the cliffs.
Rhossili bay has been awarded the European Blue Flag for the quality
of water and enviroment. |
